Battery Backup Power for Your Voice Service
For many years, your home phone would allow you to stay connected to emergency voice services during a power outage. However, today’s advanced home phone service delivered by Minburn Communications require backup battery power to continue functioning during an outage.
Residential Voice Services from Minburn Communications is automatically equipped with a battery backup that is expected to last at least eight hours on standby power. This backup battery should provide up to six hours of limited talk usage.
If you are concerned about being able to contact 911 emergency services during an extended power outage, a backup battery with longer charge time may be a good option for you.
Available for purchase, Minburn Communications offers a 24-Hour Backup Battery Kit for your telephone modem. This kit includes a stacked battery and mount that is compatible with our equipment.
Note: our backup batteries do not provide power to any services other than voice. Home security systems, medical monitoring devices and other equipment will not by powered by a home telephone backup battery.

Wire Maintenance offers peace of mind – like an insurance policy for your in-home network. Whether you subscribe to Voice, Internet, Video or all three, your monthly Wire Maintenance subscription provides free trouble isolation and repair of wires, jacks, outlets, ect.
